communion <\/a>every evening, I had another dream. I saw parmesan cheese that had gone rotten in places. Dark, wet, bad sections were being cut out and fed to flies while I continued eating the parts that still looked good. The scene reminded me of Casu marzu \u2014 the Sardinian cheese that is deliberately infested with maggots.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAs I woke up and browsed Instagram, a post about parmesan cheese appeared from a Polish girl I like. She had posted a story of herself eating it with her family. I liked the post. I know she is not a believer, or at least not a committed believer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of the dream, I was astonished of the power that displayed the vision of the cheese before it happened in the future. This astonishment turned into fear. Therefore, I stopped contacting her again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lesson<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
As I reflected on the dream and the post together, these verses came strongly to mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 6:14 (ESV) \u201cDo not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 6:17 (ESV) \u201cTherefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was also reminded of 1 Corinthians 7:39, which says a believer is free to marry \u201conly in the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The image of the maggots in the rotten cheese specifically referenced the girl as unclean. The dream was a warning that we should not yoke with unbelievers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
